This is probably one of my favorite furniture flips that I have done. It turned out better than what I would have picked out new! So for the One Room Challenge I am redoing my bedroom and doing it on a budget. So I am working with what I already have and making it into what I need it to be!
I had this dresser from ikea already…

My sister flipped this like 10 years ago to a blue color and then I flipped it from blue to white with gold hardware. I liked it at the time being but not I need it to be something else. Before when I flipped it I was only like sanding, changing hardware doing just the basics well now I realize I can totally just rebuild it… and that is exactly what I did!
I too the drawers out and then used a hammer and wedge to pry off the front bulky trim piece
Then I used my circular saw off the sides to make it an even box shape
Then I added trim to match this dresser on the top and bottom

Then I added the new legs and the top back on and it started to take shape!
Then I filled all of the holes and sanded again. Primed it and painted it black!
I got these new pulls from Amazon and used this rub n buff to give it an aged bass look! I love these pulls!
That Gave Me This Result…

This was the nightstand that goes on the other side of the bed. It is smaller and perfect for that space. It also used to be my grandmothers so I didn’t want to change it too much so I just painted it black and touched up the knob for it to match the other side.

I love how they both turned out and were so easy!
